The artifact I worked on for this course is an employee engagement project called 15Five, which helps members in my company communicate with their managers more effectively. During this class, I was able to lead a project with my two team members within 7 weeks and was able to successfully execute the project to our company. Additionally, I was able to schedule meetings, receive input from others, and adapt to obstacles during the project timeline. This artifact demonstrates my learning in this course by helping me further understand the importance of the characteristics it takes to be a leader. It also taught me the value of diversity and its importance within a company. This final artifact demonstrates my learning outcomes of social justice and community activism. Completing a leadership project about enhancing communication has helped me with my personal goal of learning my own leadership style and how it can be applied to my current company. As someone who currently works in healthcare analytics it was beneficial to be able to lead my own project and see the benefits last. Furthermore, the research done from this artifact has taught me that I could improve on certain aspects such as adapting to complex situations. In conclusion, this leadership project has helped me brainstorm how I can improve current systems in place in my current role.
