​            The artifact I chose for this course is an eight-step strategic planning process map for my current healthcare company Catalyst Healthcare Analytics. I discussed support strategies to help improve the business and described the culture of the company as a whole. In this process map I also created a mission statement and set an action plan that can be implemented by Catalyst. This artifact demonstrates my learning in this course by helping me further understand the importance of creating strategies in helping an organization achieve its mission, vision, and goals. It also taught me how to understand organizational objectives which could be translated into action plans.
            The final artifact demonstrates my learning outcomes of systems design and management as well as leadership and systems management. Completing a strategic planning process map for Catalyst has helped me with my personal goal of setting actionable steps that can be measurable and attainable within the next six months for my current company. As someone who currently works in healthcare analytics it was beneficial to be able to create a step-by-step strategic plan and assess weaknesses and strengths of my current company. Furthermore, the research done from this artifact has taught me that learning the current market in healthcare can be a vital resource to improve your own company. In conclusion, creating a strategic planning process map has helped me conceptualize how I can implement new ideas to Catalyst in my current role as well as refine the current strategies which could improve patient care as a whole.
