This artifact is a comprehensive analysis on electronic health records (EHRs) and their benefits and limitations in healthcare. It is a research paper that discusses different studies done on aspects such as costs, patient care, and efficiency with EHRs. This artifact demonstrates learning in my course by helping me further understand the importance of electronic health records and its role in healthcare. It also taught me that there is a lot of room for growth with electronic records which can in turn improve patient care as a whole. Furthermore, this course helped further explain the significance of electronic data which I discussed thoroughly in my final artifact.
    This final artifact demonstrates the learning outcome of health science knowledge and skills as well as data and knowledge management. Completing this artifact helped with my personal goal of being able to understand more about the importance of patient centered care. Likewise, providing feedback into my mobile health applications can play a vital role in improving health and patient care. Likewise, this artifact also helped with my professional goal of being able to maintain cost solutions with electronic health records with its relation to health insurance, which is what I am currently pursuing in my company. The research done from this artifact has given me an overview on how the clinical team at our company looks at electronic health records and the financial importance of its implementation.

     The artifact I chose for this course is a statistical analysis of a journal article about Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning in Electronic Health Records. I discussed how the research was conducted, the results of the study, and the strengths and weaknesses of the statistical methods that were included. In this review I also examine the limitations of the methods and what could be done to improve the study. This artifact demonstrates my learning in this course by helping me further understand the importance of statistical tests and its accuracy as well as the significance of sample populations. It also taught me how to interpret data in a meaningful way by creating tables and graphs in order to display data that is visually appealing to viewers. 
       This final artifact demonstrates my learning outcomes of data and knowledge management as well as systems design and management. Completing a statistical analysis has helped me with my personal goal of understanding the concepts of Natural Language Processing and how it can be applied to my current company. As someone who currently works in healthcare analytics it was beneficial to be able to evaluate statistical methods and its implications. Furthermore, the research done from this artifact has taught me that descriptive statistics can be a vital resource of displaying data. In conclusion, this statistical analysis has helped me brainstorm how I can incorporate statistics and Natural Language Processing in my current role.
This artifact is a comprehensive database of a company with active and completed projects. The database project showcases how data is organized, extracted, and displayed through Access. The database demonstrates my learning in the course by helping me further understand the importance of utilizing a database in comparison to storing data in excel spreadsheets. It also taught me that there are several benefits associated with databases such as enhanced data security, scalability in growing data, and establishing relationships between different sets of data. Furthermore, this course helped me understand SQL queries and how it can be applied in my current work field.

I can see how creating a database within my organization can help with collaboration for shared information. In conclusion, the research done from this artifact has given me an overview on how the programming team at our company integrates SQL and databases as well as the enhanced productivity of its implementation.
